Dr. Jon Goodwin's orthodontic practice is on Cornell Road in Cedar Mill where he has been since finishing his orthodontic training at OHSU in 1988. His father Leroy practiced orthodontics in Beaverton and Cedar Mill from 1964 until 1999. Dr. Jon Goodwin also went to dental school at |  |
OHSU after graduating from Oregon State University.
Dr. Goodwin enjoys a nice mix of children, teens, and adults as patients and finds that improving smiles and self image along with oral health is a very enjoyable part of dentistry. On the other hand Dr. Goodwin cares deeply about people who haven't had easy access to dental care. He was able to spend nine months working as a dentist in the mountains of Jamaica and has been involved with Dental Aid for Children, the Beaverton Rotary Club's dental program for children, both Mission of Mercy events in Portland, along with other projects.
Dr. Goodwin and his wife Barb have raised two boys. Dr. Goodwin enjoys walking, bicycling and other outdoor activities.
