Dennis Simonsen DMD Dr Dennis Simonsen took over for Dr Ronald Wismer in 2006 and then added a second practice from Dr Richard Krokum in 2019. They all seemed to have a common goal of providing quality, conservative care to their patients. The patients come first. He uses the latest science and proven technology to provide the best possible care.Dr Simonsen was born and raised in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle and graduated from the University of Washington. His early career involved carpentry and maritime work. The hands-on approach to work and helping people led him to pursue a career in dentistry. He saw this as an avenue to fulfill his mission of helping to improve the lives of his patients through better oral health. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, as well as extended family and friends in both Oregon and Washington. The outdoors have always been a part of his life as time allows. In the Fall, you will find him following both Husky and Ducks Football. He looks forward to traveling with his wife locally and to more distant destinations, especially to Scandinavia, where his paternal grandparents emigrated from. Professionally, Dr Simonsen is quite busy. In addition to his private practice, he treats patients at Portland State University and travels out to Eastern Oregon to see patients in Fossil, Oregon. Dr Simonsen keeps up with the latest in the art and science of dentistry through continuing education courses. He is especially grateful to have attended courses at the highly prestigious KOIS Center in Seattle. Dr. Simonsen strives to provide comprehensive, quality, conservative care in a caring, friendly office. He works with his patients to provide an outcome that best serves their needs. |
